Overview

Far From the Tree follows a mother and her teenage son whose bond has grown fractured and tense. Haunted by a sexual assault she endured years ago, she has never truly faced that trauma, and it quietly shapes her relationship with her son. As the distance between them deepens, she must finally summon the strength to confront the past she has long avoided.
