Overview

Set in a remote Siberian village, the narrative spans from the early 20th century to the early 1980s, mirroring Russia's tumultuous history. Three generations strive to uncover a promised land of happiness for their community. The first generation embarks on constructing a road through the dense taiga toward a distant star, while the second is dedicated to building communism. The third generation focuses on the quest for oil, each seeking prosperity and a brighter future for their people amidst the challenges and changes of their era.
