Overview

An RAF pilot, having survived a harrowing WWII ordeal, returns to his quaint English village with his new wife. However, the unexpected twist lies in her identity: she’s the German woman who aided in his escape. As the couple faces the challenges of blending into a community marked by wartime animosities, their love is put to the test.
