Overview

Amid the chaos of the Spanish Civil War, a troupe of comedians lifts the spirits of Republican soldiers with their humor. Weary of the brutal front lines, they set off for Valencia, hoping for a safer escape. But their journey goes terribly wrong when they stumble into enemy territory and are taken prisoner.
